The apartment had everything! From every kitchen appliance and utensil imaginable, to towels, sheets and spare blankets. We arrived with little more than our bags and had to buy nothing. Everything was included in the price, with internet, phone, hydro, refuse, and a full monthly mandatory clean, it was great value for our group. The big sunny garden was impeccably maintained, and with Trout Lake park a minute away, the apt was perfect." Patrick Egan "We were fortunate to stay in the Trout Lake Apartments for 3 1/2 months during a company move. Sometimes it was just my husband, sometimes the two of us and our two university age daughters and a couple of dogs. The house is pretty, with a comfortable layout, great beds and a completely equipped kitchen. The house is immaculate and the garden is equally well kept. A couple of small issues arose during our extended stay and they were handled immediately. I highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting a central location with Skytrain a short walk away, and Trout Lake Park three doors down." Barb and Don Smith "The off-beat location became a great feature, the house felt our own rather than a rental and then of course the park, the park, the park" Jeffrey Sweetbaum “Professional Couple thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Trout Lake Apartment. Professional couple (with dog) moving into the Vancouver market, rented Trout Lake Apartment for the period October 2007 through February 2008. We enjoyed everything about the experience, from the proximity to downtown/Commercial Street/the North Shore to the park a few houses away to the condition of the home itself. Janet was a very responsive landlord and her staff were always courteous, on time and tidy. Anyone wanting a "home" should stay at the Trout Lake Apartment.” Dave, Fran and Shooter "My friends and I stayed in the Trout Lake apartment for the 6 months to March 2009. The apartment came as a fully formed home, with everything we needed already right there. The kitchen contained all the necessary appliances and utensils and the bedrooms contained ample storage space and incredibly comfortable beds. Moreover, any problems or concerns we had were dealt with swiftly, and our request for a faster internet connection was met without any additional charge. The view of the North Shore mountains from the back of the house is truly epic. The apartment is located in a quiet, leafy suburb of Vancouver and is literally a stone's throw from John Hendry Park and Trout Lake. Right around the corner is a coffee shop and a community centre with gym and ice rink, and the hustle and bustle of Commercial Drive, with its array of transit links, is within easy walking distance. All in all, highly recommended for anyone planning an extended stay in Vancouver. Thanks!" Dan Newby The Trout Lake apartment is in a great location! Walking distance to both skytrain and bus as well as Commercial Drive with all its restaurants and pubs. It is right by the lake too and also has some great views of the mountains. This is especially true on the balcony which overlooks the lake (great for sitting outside on sunny days). The house its self is very nice inside, the rooms are a good size and there is also a large kitchen and an open plan living room/dining area which is great if you have friends over. There were 4 of us living here and we still felt like we had enough space. It comes fully furnished/decorated and all bills (hydro, high speed internet, TV) are included in the price of the rent. We were here for 6 months and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a great area of Vancouver." Paul Read |
